Terry McCamie was born in Augusta, Georgia, but has called Florida home since early childhood.  As the son of a Florida Highway Patrol Trooper, Terry literally lived in every corner of the State of Florida, attending 13 different schools in 12 years.

Terry graduated from Osceola High School, in Kissimmee, in 1966, and enrolled in what was then Orlando Junior College.  After receiving his Associates degree from OJC, Terry made his way to Gainesville and enrolled in the University of Florida.  He graduated with a Bachelors degree in Political Science in 1971.

Terry began working in the area of insurance claims when he joined Crawford & Company as an adjuster in 1972.  Crawford & Company is the world's largest independent provider of claims management solutions to the risk management and insurance industry, serving clients in more than 63 countries.  There, Terry received extensive training and experience in all areas of insurance claims, including motor vehicle accident claims, trucking accident claims, premises liability claims, property damage claims, and property claims.  Terry progressed through the ranks at Crawford & Company, eventually becoming a Claims Supervisor.  After leaving Crawford & Company, Terry also adjusted a wide variety of liability claims for Michigan Mutual Insurance Company (now known as Amerisure), as well as for Fireman's Fund Insurance Company.  He also served as panel-member on inter-company arbitration boards for 13 years.

Terry decided to make a life change when he began working to help injured people at the law firm of Troutman, Williams, Irvin, Green, Helms & Polich, P.A., in Winter Park, Florida, in 1987.  There, he assisted the attorneys in the pre-suit handling of a wide variety of cases including automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip-and-falls, trucking accidents, dangerous products, sexual abuse, negligent security, watercraft, crane accident, high power electrocutions, and dog bites.  Terry joined Kim at this firm in 2004.

Terry is a motor sports enthusiast and enjoys restoring and customizing import and domestic sports car and collectors' cars.  In his earlier years, Terry was a tournament water skier who competed in tournaments throughout Florida.  Terry is an avid tennis player - playing four or five days per week, and is also a certified racket stringer.

Terry has been married for over 30 years, and has 3 adult children and one grandchild.  His wife is a veteran of the insurance industry, having worked in claims for Prudential Property & Casualty/Liberty Mutual for over 30 years.

Terry has had a lifelong interest in spiritual development and is thankful that God gives us grace in our lives.  He is a member of Discovery Church in Orlando, Florida, and hosts bible study fellowship meetings weekly.
