Orlando Shooting on Kirkman, Crash Leads to Several Injuries

Local media are reporting that shots fired from one car to another on Kirkman Road in Orlando has caused a serious car crash resulting in injuries to at least four innocent people. The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that a Cadillac was southbound on Kirkman Road when a silver van pulled up alongside the Cadillac and opened fire with a gun.
The shooting caused the driver of the Cadillace to lose control of his vehicle, cross the centerline/median and enter northbound lanes of travel on Kirkman Road. Unfortunately, the Cadillac crashed directly into a Toyota with four occupants. All four occupants were injured -- at least two reportedly severely. Ambulances responded and the Toyota occupants were taken to the hospital from the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Cadillac were found later at HealthSouth Hospital in Ocoee, where one was being treated for a gunshot wound. Neither of the occupants of the Cadillac were willing to speak with police about the incident.
The identity of the owner or driver of the silver van is currently unknown.
