Tragic Rear-end Accident on Grissom Parkway in Brevard

On Thanksgiving Day, the Orlando Sentinel reported on a horrible crash that occurred on Grissom Parkway in Brevard County. Apparently a Cocoa woman was driving a Mitsubishi S.U.V. northbound with at least one child on board.
Katrina Johnson, 24, was driving her 1999 Ford behind the S.U.V., and came upon the Mitsubishi at a high rate of speed. Apparently, Ms. Johnson's Ford clipped the rear end of the Mitsubishi causing it to spin, hit a traffic sign, and then flip over several times.
The driver of the S.U.V. and at least one of the children on board were ejected from the vehicle. Tragically, the driver died on the way to the hospital. The ejected child was taken to the trauma center at Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando.
Our hearts go out to the family of the folks in the Mitsubishi. We hope that Ms. Johnson accepts responsibility for the personal injuries and wrongful death that she seemingly caused.
